Utah State Parks
The off-season is an ideal time to enjoy not only Utah’s national parks but also some of the state parks that are overflowing with visitors during the summer. Located just 15 minutes from St. George, Sand Hollow State Park is a fantastic destination on its own, and you have easy access to Zion National Park. Another favorite is Coral Pinks Sand Dunes State Park near Kanab. The reddish-pink sand is mesmerizing, and the campground is well-equipped for a comfortable stay in your RV or tent. Autumn camping in Utah is also an option at Dead Horse State Park.

Located within Arches National Park, Devil’s Garden is a very basic campground; however, you are surrounded by the stunning landscape and have convenient access to all of the park’s most popular spots. If Bryce Canyon National Park is on your list, check out North Campground and Sunset Campground within the park boundaries. For Zion National Park, Watchman Campground is always in demand. You can even camp within Capitol Reef National Park at Fruita campground.
